Oculus Quest 2 System Requirements: What Do You Need to Run It?

Oculus Quest 2 is a high-end headset that has been popular around the world. The new design is lighter and more powerful than the original Oculus Quest. This headset has offered the best and most immersive virtual reality experience up to now. 

Oculus Link and Oculus Air Link are two software that allow you to use Quest or Quest 2 to play PC VR games. You must have the corresponding hardware to run the software; here are the hardware requirements (minimum) to play the software and games:

  • OS: Windows 10

  • CPU: Intel i5-4590 / AMD Ryzen 5 1500X or better

  • GPU: GeForce GTX 970 / Radeon 400 Series 

  • RAM: 8GB or more

  • USB ports: 1x USB port (unless using Air Link)

Note: Pay attention to choosing graphics cards since some may not be compatible with Oculus Link and Oculus Air Link. Here is the list of GPUs supporting these two software:
